Open Question: Camp/activities thing age limit question..?

hi, my friend told me about this free camp/activities thing, and we're planning to go together. but i have a question and i'm wondering what you think of it.

my mom called and asked about it, and they said they have an age limit. as of my birthday, i'm over the age limit, but she's been over the age limit since april, and she still went, and i think she said she told them her age and they still let her participate. so i'm confused.

do you think i should go? or do you think they might tell me i can't participate? what do you think is going on here?
