Resolved Question: MY mom won't let me go camping!?

So I just started the 6th grade and in november which is 2 months from now we go to 6th grade camp. 4 days and 3 nights there. But my mom says it's dangerous and yes I know that in some ways that camping can be dangerous but there is no guarantee I am going to make it home safely and there is also no guarantee I am going to come home with broken bones. All my friends are going i was in the locker room asking my buds and they all said they were going. actually so far everyone i asked girl or boy said they were going BUT I REAAALLLY wanna go so how do I convince my mom I don't have a lot of time to convince her on october 24th it's my birthday so I am gonna ask her if that could be my b-day present no guarantee she gonna say yes. my friends are all going and the truth is i have never been camping in my life i went swimming in this camp/lake house place thingy but i didn't stay over night..........:( I love outdoors more than indoors i am a more outside person :) but my parents never brought me camping cause they are very safe and careful people they take no risk so I pretty much been inside my whole life they had to think twice about me going to a friends swim party D: but they ended up letting me go I usually talk them into things but now i am loosing hope!
