Resolved Question: Bushcraft / Survival Knife advice ... ?

I've recently been getting into bushcraft and I need a good survival/bushcraft knife for general camp work.

I'm not looking for anything too huge - perhaps between 4.5 and 6.5 inch blade, but I'm not sure about the pros and cons of carbon steel vs stainless steel.

Please feel free to lecture me on things I already understand if that is your wish, but it's worth understanding that two additional full tang, 4.5 - 6.5 inch drop blade, bushcraft camp knives (very different than a "Rambo knife") will be carried and used in the UK and beyond in the very near future. I hope this fact doesn't give you too many sleepless nights. If it d
